The Roaring Twenties – an era of Jazz, art and invention! In this week-long camp we’ll travel back in time to the 1920’s – and delve into the golden age of Jazz, Surrealism, Art Deco, Bauhaus, the Harlem Renaissance and the birth of Modern Art! We’ll study the decade that brought us radio, talking movies, bubble gum (yeah!), Babe Ruth, and Mickey Mouse! In this multi-media camp, students will not only explore the 1920’s “art movements”, they will also try their hands at the “Scribble Technique”, transforming Rorschach Inkblots into art, creating the fashions of the flappers, and much more. There will be no “Prohibitions” on creativity. This camp will be “The greatest thing since Sliced Bread” (invented1928) $140
