CA-5 Pollinator Garden Camp

Instructors: Our artsy crew buzzing with creativity

Nimbus Arts will be buzzing with life this summer in our new pollinator garden! Prepare to get your hands dirty and your magnifying glasses ready! We will explore the wonderful micro-world of insects and plants by planting seeds and observing life cycles in our new outdoor garden classroom! Join us to let artistic skills and scientific knowledge cross-pollinate with hands-on pollinator garden experiences. Explore mixed media arts while sculpting featherweight hummingbirds from hefty clay, transform caterpillars to butterflies with a stroke of a paintbrush, go batty crafting a handsewn plush friend, and make room for the blooms in your own mini flower gardens to take home! We’re going to be busy bees learning all there is to know about our pollinator friends. Students will discover the intricate work pollinators do and how deeply they our connected to all of us. While exploring our role in supporting a healthy pollinator habitat we will design, imagine, and create beautiful insect art! Join this camp to see what the buzz is all about! $160
