Jump into this hands-on class in basic blacksmithing and basic knife making. Warm up and fine tune your techniques during guided exercises while making hooks, a bottle opener or a spoon. In 2 days you’ll heat, forge, grind, sand, and heat-treat your way to a beautiful, fully functional steel knife made from a railroad spike, complete with wood handles and brass pins! All levels welcome, no experience necessary.  Safety and metal working supplies provided. Bring a sack lunch to keep the creative juices flowing! $150
