Over the next 34 years he perfected his craft into a free-form fine art pumpkin carving style. He placed 1st in the Blizzard Entertainment pumpkin carving contest in 2013 and numerous honorable mentions over the years. He has been featured in the Flicker blog and the London Mirror. Come learn the tricks and treats of the pumpkin carving trade!
Since the “Great Pumpkin” is upon us and we can once again gather… don’t miss this unique opportunity to work once again. with master pumpkin carver and artist, Eric Muensterman. Learn the importance of pumpkin selection, “skinning method” techniques, template creation and application, tools selection, whimsical lighting techniques and preservation methods to get the longest life out of your artisan pumpkin! Pumpkins, tools and spooky treats are provided. We will have the class the evening before our public “Floating Pumpkin” exhibit at Farmstead so that students can have the opportunity to share their pumpkins with the world! Tools will be provided, and can be purchased by students after class if they want to keep them for an extra fee. We look forward to seeing you! $40/person
