Nancy Willis

Since 2008, Nancy has taught painting and printmaking workshops at Nimbus and is part of the Summer/Winter camp team of instructors and is also a NIMBASH creative force. Nancy has been a regular instructor in the Juvenile Hall and Court and Community series of classes. In January of 2020, Willis brought her Conflict Zone project with Yazidis from Northern Iraq to St. Helena, exhibiting the work at Nimbus Arts. The monotypes and paintings were part of an ongoing collaborative project to bring awareness of the ISIS-led genocide and how violence against women is used as a strategy of war.
