Big news! Nimbus awarded grants from our City, County + State

The importance and relevance of art in our community is underscored by a trio of grants totaling over $60,000 recently awarded to Nimbus Arts.

The City of St. Helena supported additional improvements on our Hundreds of Hands™ #004 initiative, The Creativity Corner at St. Helena Elementary School. The funds will help add improvements to increase the ways the space can be used for educational and social gatherings.

Napa County, through its Arts & Culture Program, granted funds to Nimbus Arts to help the organization upgrade and integrate its administration and communication functions. When fully implemented, the upgrades will reduce staff workload and increase the timeliness and accuracy of Nimbus Arts’ program information.

The California Arts Council, a state agency, awarded $42,500 to Nimbus Arts through its statewide JUMP StArts grant program — our largest grant to date! Nimbus Arts will deliver high quality fine and industrial arts education to youth engaged in the Juvenile Court and Community Schools, building upon the successful and effective program launched in 2016 in conjunction with the Napa County Office of Education. Our comprehensive program includes a standards-based, innovative instructional design and formal training for teaching artists and partners to respond to student needs.

Each of these grants provides funding for an area of importance or need for Nimbus Arts.
We are deeply thankful for the support we receive from our city, county, and state
