Donor Advised Fund: Nimbus Arts Tax ID: 27-1503762
Unrestricted donations give Nimbus Arts the flexibility to allocate funds where they are most needed and provide the greatest impact. Donations may be restricted to a particular program such as scholarships or community outreach; such designated support may not increase the budget allotted for that program within the current fiscal year, but your donation will be appropriately allocated within 24 months.
Nimbus Arts’ Leadership Circle includes our most generous donors, and their multi-year unrestricted gifts help to both stabilize and sustain our organization over time. Joining the Leadership Circle conveys a number of benefits; more information on recognition and benefits can be found on our website.
NIMBASH, our Annual Fundraising Event
The largest percentage of Nimbus Art’s operating budget comes through its annual “arty-party,” and auction, NIMBASH. Highly anticipated and always sold-out, NIMBASH delights and entertains more than 350 art patrons, benefactors and artists from across the Napa Valley and around the world. NIMBASH sponsor and patron benefits are extensive; it’s a great way to show your support of Nimbus Arts and participate in one of wine country’s most legendary events. Options to support NIMBASH include: Corporate Sponsorship + Gifts of Art + In-Kind Donations of Auction Items
Donation of Stock or Securities*
To make a donation in the form of a transfer of stock or securities, please contact Molly Bjorkman at 707-963-5278.
Making a tax-free donation from your IRA can help you meet your required minimum distribution and support Nimbus Arts. Options vary, and specific steps are required to meet “qualified charitable distribution” requirements. Please contact Nimbus Arts and your plan administrator for guidance.
Donating real estate is another option that can provide substantial benefits to Nimbus Arts and may convey tax advantages to the donor. Please contact us and we would be happy to explore donation of a home, vacation property, condominium, undeveloped land, or other real estate.
Employer Charitable Giving Programs
Thousands of companies will match or multiply donations made by their employees to Nimbus Arts. Matching gift forms are typically available from the personnel office at the donor’s place of employment. Please contact us if you need help designating Nimbus Arts in your workplace-giving program.
Legacy Giving & Estate Planning*
Many donors wish to make a more substantial gift to Nimbus Arts through legacy giving rather than through an outright contribution. Many options are available; please contact Nimbus Arts if you are considering making art your legacy through a gift to Nimbus Arts.
Nimbus Arts is often recognized as a beneficiary organization with donations made in lieu of flowers or to recognize and celebrate a lifetime commitment to art. This choice can be included in personal legacy planning and coordination in advance with Nimbus Arts.
Donating products or services may offer the donor an immediate tax deduction. Nimbus Arts accepts these donations when there is identifiable need and a direct connection to our programs and services.
*Please check with your financial or tax advisor for guidance about the tax-deductibility of your gift/s.
