#013 Tractors on Parade

Nimbus Arts celebrated the holiday season and the 25th anniversary of our beloved Calistoga Lighted Tractor Parade with our festive “Tractors on Parade” community art installation. This unique exhibit was created by 100 community members far and wide who shared in arty creativity with family and friends.

Families from across the Napa Valley signed up to receive a free tractor art kit which included paints, brushes, instructions and wooden tractor forms. Everyone got their creative wheels turning as they decorated, painted, collaged and even knit over their tractors for our wonderfully diverse community exhibition! Tractors were collected and assembled for all to see on our outdoor display wall in downtown Calistoga. Our free art kit distribution is part of our Hundreds of HandsTM initiative and our continued mission to bring the community together through creativity and art.

Part of the Tractor Parade community celebration, “Tractors on Parade” community art installation was generously sponsored by Napa Valley Vintners. And a special thanks to the Calistoga Art Center for helping us distribute our free tractor kits and Dr. Wilkinson’s Backyard Resort & Mineral Springs for the use of their wonderful public display space.

Nimbus Arts is honored by the community support received from individuals, corporations, and foundations that enabled the creation and installation of “Tractors on Parade.”  We are especially grateful for the guidance and support of our Board of Directors, Leadership Circle and Granting Agencies, and for the dedication and talents of Nimbus artists, staff, and volunteers.
